The Chicks With Sticks podcast, hosted by Ashley Coughlin and Delaney Lukowski, is centered around current events in the lacrosse community.

Both have an exuberance of knowledge as a former midfielder and a division three goalie from Wilkes University.

“We want Chicks With Sticks to be a podcast that inspires young players in the game. Yes, lacrosse has experienced immense growth within the last decade, however there is so much more that can be done,” the pair explained. “Our hope is for the podcast to reach as many young people as possible so we can help grow the game.”

The podcast was initially announced June 16, 2021 with the first three episodes being released July 1, 2021.

Chicks With Sticks has uploaded four episodes so far. The most recent episode is, “A Deal With The Devil.” It delves into the details of the NCAA supreme court case, and student athlete compensation. Over the course of four episodes, the podcast has averaged about 50 listeners an episode.

“We may only have 200 followers on Instagram right now, but oh my GOD we have 200 followers… Everyone who interacts with our posts, stories, and listens is doing us a huge favor. Just knowing there are people out there that support us is a win in our book.”

With new episodes coming out consistently, patrons can tune in to listen every other week.
